Privacy
OS20 is software you run on your own computer. It is made by Om Yaduvanshi (git11), an individual developer in India. This page explains what data exists and where it goes. The short version: your CRM data stays on your computer, and OS20 does not collect it.
The OS20 app
- Your CRM data (companies, people, notes, emails you draft) is stored in a database inside Docker on your computer. It is never sent to OS20 or to me.
- Your API keys are encrypted and stored in that same local database.
- AI and search providers you choose. When you use the AI or run a lead search, OS20 sends your request directly from your computer to the provider whose key you added (for example OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, Tavily, Firecrawl, Brave, SerpAPI or Google Places). Their privacy policies apply to that data.
- Websites. The lead engine visits public company websites to read their pages, from your computer and your internet connection.
- Email. Outreach emails are sent from the mail account you connect, to the people you choose.
- Update check. Twice a day OS20 asks GitHub for the latest release number. No information about you or your data is sent. You can turn it off with
OS20_UPDATE_CHECK=false. - No telemetry. OS20 does not send usage analytics.
This website
- It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
- It is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) to run and protect the service. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
- There are no forms and no accounts, so no personal data is collected here.
Deleting your data
Everything the app stores is on your computer. To delete it all, run os20 reset or docker compose down -v in your OS20 folder, which removes the database and files. This website holds no data about you. If you emailed me and want that deleted, write to me and I will delete it.
Children
OS20 is a business tool and is not directed at children.
